On 27 June 2024, the Arboreal’s apps was presented on occasion of the the world’s largest forest conference: IUFRO. Arboreal, partner in Sintetic project, met with scientists from around the globe and presented the two existing apps: Arboreal Tree and Arboreal Forest. The audience was highly engaged and eager to see these applications in real-world conditions.
In the spotlight:
- Arboreal also demonstrated a new method for measuring forests using a variable radius plot, receiving excellent questions and feedback that will help us improve.
- As part of the SINTETIC Project, Arboreal demonstrated how to scan logs with a LiDAR sensor on a phone and embed an RFID from Simtrona into the log to trace it from the forest to the final board in the sawmill. We are excited about closing the value chain in forestry.
