As part of the SINTETIC project, a collaboration has been established with the REVIERTE project to organize the training course “Silviculture and Wood Quality Assessment from Forest to Industry.”
During the sessions, SINTETIC presented its latest technological advances in digital forest management. Highlights included demonstrations of the Tree Scanner mobile application and other cutting-edge tools designed for tree measurement, log volume estimation, and wood quality assessment.
Participants also explored SINTETIC’s comprehensive traceability system, which integrates: LiDAR and photogrammetry-based measurements, digital twin technology, RFID identification, and a georeferenced data platform.
Together, these innovations enable seamless tracking of wood products—from standing trees in the forest to finished boards in industry.
This collaboration reinforces the shared mission of both projects: advancing sustainable, efficient, and technology-driven forest resource management.
